Rules

To create a level playing field polishing cloths may be used, but no polish or solution will be allowed.

Each match in the "IMAGE is everything" tournament will consist of two 10 minute halves. If any match in the tournament is tied after regulation the match will immediately be decided by "The Image Shootout". It will be a best-of-3 shootout. If the shootout remains tied after 3 per side, it will go to sudden-death until there is a winner.

Here's how it works:
- One shooting figure versus the keeper.
- The ball is placed just outside the standard shooting line on each pitch. (see illustration)

- The keeper shall remain inside the "6-box" as normal.
- When both shooter and keeper are ready, the shooter begins.
- The shooter gets the standard 3 touch maximum to attempt to score.
- Before a shot is attempted, the ball must be over the shooting line and "shootable".

Tournament Format

Registration will be open until Sunday, June 1, 2008. Once that date passes, players are registered, teams are chosen, and fees are paid, a tournament format using a random draw will be decided upon.

Prizes

The winner will be presented with the prestigious "Soccer Bowl" that will be kept until the next Image Tournament. Both the winner and runner up will also be presented with trophies to keep as well.
